No-bake Roast Almond Slice

Ingredients

60g butter
1/4 cup Golden Syrup
200g tube Condensed Milk
1 packet Arnott's Milk Arrowroot Biscuits, crushed
50g slivered almonds, toasted
250g Roast Almond Chocolate, roughly chopped

Method

Place the butter, golden syrup and condensed milk into a large saucepan, heat on low until melted. Stir well.

Add the biscuit crumbs and almonds, and stir thoroughly. Press into a lined 28x18cm slab pan.

Place the chocolate into a heatproof bowl and microwave on Medium (50% power) in 15 second bursts until melted (approx 2 minutes).

Spread the melted chocolate over the crumb mixture and leave to set at room temperature.

When cooled, cut into pieces and store in the fridge.
