Wagon Wheels choc coating uses a unique blend of compound chocolate made from cocoa powder, milk solids and vegetable oil derived from sustainable palm oil.
We use cane sugar to produce our Arnott’s Wagon Wheels. We source our sugar from Queensland.
Our flour is milled from wheat sourced from across Australia including the Darling Downs, Moree, the Riverina and South Australia.
Arnott’s Wagon Wheels are made using certified sustainable palm oil from Malaysia. Arnott’s ANZ and our supplier are active members of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).
All palm oil used in our vegetable oil blend is sourced from the Malaysian Peninsular, from land specifically used to produce palm oil. It is not an area experiencing deforestation and no orangutans are found wild on this Peninsular.
We proudly make our own marshmallow for Arnott’s Wagon Wheels at our bakery in South Australia. Marshmallow is made from ingredients including sugar syrup, water and gelatine. Our gelatine is sourced from Australian and New Zealand beef.
We purchase our jam for our Arnott’s Wagon Wheels from a local supplier, who makes it in Australia from local and imported ingredients. Jam contains Gelling Agent E440 or pectin which is derived from fruit and Food Acid E334 or tartaric acid which is derived from grape must.
Ingredients for texture
Baking Soda or Raising Agent E500
When mixed with dough, baking powder allows our biscuits to rise and become light and crispy in texture when baked.
Emulsifiers: Soy Lecithin and E492
We use these to help blend ingredients together and form a smooth and even choc coating.
Lecithin, also known as E322 is a natural emulsifier derived from non-GMO soy beans.
Sorbitan tristearate, also known as E492, is derived from sugar and oil.

We use golden syrup to give our Wagon Wheels their rich and sweet flavour and crunchy texture. The golden syrup we use is a product of Australia.

We use small amounts of alcohol based flavours like vanilla essence in Arnott’s Wagon Wheel.
While all the alcohol should evaporate during the baking and depositing process, there is a possibility that trace amounts could be present in some of our biscuits.
The tray we use is fully recyclable and we encourage you to please recycle after use.
The plastic wrapping we use is not suitable for household recycling bins. To recycle, we recommend using REDCycle collection bins at selected Coles and Woolworths stores.
