  • 175g pack Arnott’s Chicken Crimpy Shapes
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 500 chicken thigh fillets, flattened
  • Vegetable oil, for shallow frying
  • 4 bread buns
  • Iceberg lettuce
  • Kewpie mayo


Step 1
In a food processor, process Arnott’s Chicken Crimpy Shapes until they resemble fine breadcrumbs. Set aside.
Step 2
Place Shapes crumbs in a medium bowl. Place eggs in another medium bowl and lightly whisk. Place flour in a third medium bowl.
Step 3
One by one, lightly coat chicken in the flour and shake off any excess. Dip into the egg mix, then the Shapes crumbs mixture, pressing gently.
Step 4
Heat oil in a medium frypan. Cook in batches until golden and cooked through. Set aside on paper towel to drain.
Step 5
Cut bun in half, spread over kewpie mayo, top with chicken and iceberg lettuce.
