Light and fluffy on the inside, with a light crisp outside, Arnott's Tim Tams make a delicious twist for this easy lemonade scone recipe. Serve with strawberries and cream, with a cup of tea!!
Pre heat oven to 200⁰C. Line a baking tray with baking.
Step 2
Roughly chop Tim Tam biscuits and set aside.
Step 3
In a medium jug, combine cream and lemonade.
Step 4
Place flour in a large bowl. Add the cream mix and stir with a butter knife until mix starts to come together. Add your chopped Tim Tam biscuits. Stir but don’t overmix.
Step 5
Transfer dough onto a work surface and knead gently (see tip), then pat down in a 3cm thick disk.
Step 6
Using a lightly floured 5cm round cutter, cut out rounds. Place on lined tray and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden. Cool
Step 7
Serve scones split in half, topped with whipped cream and strawberries.
Notes
Scones need a light touch so be mindful not to overknead the dough or scones may be tough.
