Bring some festive flair to your holiday spread with this creamy, indulgent Festive Clix Log! Made with smooth cream cheese and packed with seasonal flavours, this log compliments the buttery textures of a Clix cracker so well.
60g shortcut bacon, finely chopped into small pieces
½ cup cranberries, finely chopped
½ cup pecans, finely chopped
⅓ cup fresh chives, finely chopped
250g cream cheese, softened
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
250g Arnott’s Clix
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in a small frypan and cook bacon until crispy. Set aside on paper towel to drain and cool.
Step 2
In a medium bowl combine pecans, cranberries, and chives. Mix to combine. Divide into 2 bowls. Add bacon to one mixture.
Step 3
In a separate bowl combine cream cheese, cheddar and pecan mixture (without the bacon) and mix well.
Step 4
Lay out a large piece of baking paper or cling wrap and place cream cheese mixture into a log shape (around 25cm), roll the log into the bacon mixture, tie ends of paper or cling film and roll into a log. Chill until ready to serve.
