Ingredients

  • 2 x 250g packets of Arnott’s Marie biscuits
  • 2 x 600ml thickened cream
  • 250ml chocolate milk

Preparation

Step 1
Lightly grease a 22 cm (base diameter measurement) springform pan. Line the base of the tray with baking paper.
Step 2
Place chocolate milk in a jug.
Step 3
Place cream in a large bowl and beat with electric beaters until firm peaks form.
Step 4
Dip each biscuit into the chocolate milk mixture and place in the springform pan. Place biscuits over the base, breaking them to fit.
Step 5
Smooth a 1/2 cup of whipped cream over the biscuits. Place another layer of biscuits, dipped in chocolate milk, over the cream. Top the second layer of biscuits with cream. Repeat this process until all the biscuits are in the pan.
Step 6
Cover the cake with cream. Reserve leftover cream. Cover and chill for 8 hours. Flip onto a plate and remove the baking paper. Cover the cake with the reserved cream.
Step 7
Decorate with freckles and chocolate shavings.

Notes

  • For a stronger chocolate flavour
  • drizzle the top with a cold chocolate sauce.
