Try our deliciously easy Tim Tam pikelet recipe today! We believe any dessert can be improved with a bit of Arnott's Tim Tam goodness. So, this week, we took the humble Aussie pikelet and added a satisfying chocolatey crunch to the soft and fluffy batter. Served with fresh slices of banana, these petite treats are perfect for morning tea or as a sweet arvo snack for little lunchboxes!


  • 5 x Arnott's Tim Tam Original Biscuits
  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 1 tbsp caster sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup (185ml) milk
  • 1 egg
  • Melted butter for cooking


Step 1 Roughly chop Tim Tams and set aside.

Step 2 In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Whisk to combine.

Step 3 Whisk milk and egg together in a jug. Gently pour milk mixture into the centre of the flour and gently whisk together to form a batter.

Step 4 Stir through chopped Tim Tams.

Step 5 Add butter to a non-stick frypan over medium heat. Add a tablespoon of mixture to the pan and cook until bubbles appear on the surface. Flip over and cook for 1 minute or until cooked through. Repeat with remaining mixture.
